From Grassroots to Gold -
Duncan Scott

Duncan Scott MBE is a Scottish swimmer representing Great Britain at the World and European Aquatics Championships, European Games and the Olympic Games, and Scotland at the Commonwealth Games. 

Duncan made history after winning four medals – more than any other British athlete at a single Olympic Games – in Tokyo 2020, simultaneously becoming Great Britain’s most decorated swimmer in Olympic history. Duncan grew up in Alloa before moving to Strathallan School on a sport scholarship in his teens.

From Minis to Murrayfield -
Grant Gilchrist

Grant Gilchrist  is a Scottish professional rugby union player who plays as a lock for United Rugby Championship club Edinburgh and the Scotland national team.

Grant went to school at Lornshill Academy and played with Alloa RFC before moving on to Stirling County RFC.  He represented Scotland at under-18, under-19, under-20 levels. He received his first full cap for Scotland against France in the 2013 Six Nations Championship at the Stade de France, aged 22.
